What is Wallerist?

Wallerist is a wall exchange: artists upload works, venues list walls, and our matching engine pairs the right art to the right space. We coordinate insurance, shipping, and installation. On-site QR labels enable quick discovery and purchase.

How do sales work?

Guests can scan a QR label on-site or browse the artwork online to purchase. Payments are processed securely, and all involved parties receive their agreed shares. Terms are transparent and shared before any placement.

Where is Wallerist available?

We're expanding city by city with a focus on design-forward venues. You can join from anywhere; we'll notify you as placements open near you.

Artists

How do artists get matched to venues?

Upload works with dimensions, medium, and story. Venues list wall sizes, lighting, and vibe. Our engine evaluates fit and proposes placements for both sides to approve.

Who handles logistics and insurance for artists?

We coordinate pickup, insured transit, white-glove installation, and the return or rotation when a placement ends.

Can artists control what is displayed and for how long?

Yes. Artists propose pieces and preferred durations. Once a venue approves, we schedule the install. You can request a swap or early end through your dashboard.

How do buyers learn more about an artwork on-site?

Every placement includes a discreet QR label that opens the artwork page with details, biography, and purchase options.

Venues

What does a venue need to provide?

List one or more walls with approximate dimensions, lighting notes, and your space's vibe. We'll propose suitable works and coordinate installation at convenient times.

Is there any upfront cost to host art?

Listing and hosting are designed to be low-friction. Agreements outline responsibilities and any costs before installation—no surprises.

How are QR labels used in the space?

We place a small, elegant label near each work. Guests can scan to learn more and buy instantly—no extra staff training required.

What happens if a piece is damaged?

Installations are insured and professionally handled. In the rare event of an incident, we coordinate assessment and claims according to the placement agreement.

Collectors

How do I buy a piece I see on a wall?

Scan the QR label next to the artwork to open its page. From there you can review details, select framing (if available), and check out securely on your phone.

Can I purchase later if I didn't scan on-site?

Yes. You can find the artwork on wallerist.com by searching the artist or venue name. Saved pieces remain in your account so you can return to them anytime.

How is the artwork shipped and delivered?

We handle professional packing, insured shipping, and delivery to your address. For some locations, installation services can be arranged at checkout.

Do you offer framing?

Many works include framing options at checkout. If a piece ships unframed, we provide guidance to help you choose a frame that suits the work and your space.

What about authenticity and provenance?

Each artwork includes creator details and documentation. Where relevant, certificates or digital provenance records accompany the work.

What payment methods can I use?

We support major cards and modern digital wallets. Options may vary by region; available methods are shown at checkout.

Can I return an artwork?

Returns depend on the artwork category and its condition upon delivery. Full terms are shown at checkout and in your order confirmation.
